Many people believe that fluoride is not only harmless but that we also need to consume it.

In fact there is enough fluoride in a large tube of Colgate toothpaste to kill a small child.

Fluoride in the Water

Why you need to avoid it

Fluoride is a trace mineral that, in sufficient quantity, is harmful to mental health. As a neurotoxin it is a substance that’s poisonous or destructive to the tissues in the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system.

It embrittles tooth enamel and the bones. Advanced cases of dental fluorosis can be disfiguring with severe damage to the tooth enamel. The same effect happens to the entire skeleton.

As an enamel-hardening agent fluoride is effective only while teeth are developing - up until about 10 years old. Sufficient fluoride for this comes from them brushing three times a day.
