The Ever-Growing Family Farm uses traditional hand-cultivation to produce traditional African rice varieties on about 1/2 an acre of paddies in the Hudson Valley.

The Hudson Valley Rice Project

Restoration local grain production

Agricultural production of grain has been completely taken over by Big Agri-business. Here is a situation where we can help turn this around - growing rice in cooler climates. Rice can be grown in a lot of different micro-climates.

During the summer months it is possible to grow rice in the Hudson Valley, New York state, USA.
Working in harmony with the land and nature, the Hudson Valley Rice Project at Ever-Growing Family Farm is committed to sustainable local grain production in order to provide our community with freshly-milled rice.
Increased biodiversity, improved food security, and reduced carbon footprint.
